Blank Screen

Once installed I've run the game only to get a black screen.

What OS are you using? A simple fix would be try to run the game as administrator (right-click on the executable and choose run as administrator). I notice with Windows 10 in particular this can be an issue. The black screen sounds like a driver issue, is your GPU drivers up to date?

Running Windows 10; I get to the start menu then hit play then black screen. Trying a reinstall..

Did you try right clicking on the game menu executable and running it as the administrator? If you launch the game menu as the admin the game also should launch in that mode.

Tried running as admin but same result - black screen although the cursor does change so it looks like something (but not much is happening). Checked all drivers and DirectX up to date as well.

Can you please attach a DxDiag report file?
How to get a Directx Dialog file:

1. click on "START" (on Windows 8 Press "Windows Key" + "R" and go to step 3)
2. click "run"
3. type in "dxdiag" and click "OK"
4. check through the tabs and perform all tests
5. click "Save all Information..." and save the text file to a location of your choice
6. open the text file, copy the contents, and post along with your issue.

I also get the same issue. It has something to do with the way the menus are being displayed. The menu comes up for 5 seconds then it goes black. I can still make selections but I can't see what I selecting. If I'm quick enough and get in to the game it seems to work fine. It has something to do with the main menu.

So if I can select the campaign fast enough it will load. It will come up with a blank screen as well but If I click on the application in the task bar it will bring up the menu. But if I click on anything it will not show the selection until I click on the game icon in the task bar again. It does this until I get the game launched. Then it works fine.

just one of many posts / threads i found on issues with some of your hardware, driver related i'm sorry to say

Razer BlackWidow Ultimate may need to be updated to fully support windows 10 is solution 1
I get this sometimes and the solution I found was to open up task manager (CTRL+SHIFT+ESC) and find the Razer Synapse process then kill it. Then restart Synapse and it should work. A bit of a hassle, but easier than unplugging and plugging cables or reinstalls each time.

If you have Synapse already installed, go to your task manager and end any Razer Synapse related processes. Make sure to check the background processes also.

Once you've done this, unplug your keyboard from your computer, then launch Synapse. Once you're greeted with the menu saying to connect a Razer device, plug your keyboard back into your computer and it should recognize it. This worked for me, and hopefully anyone else that tries it.

Solution (Worked for me on Windows 10!
Steps:
1. Uninstall any driver related to Razer "In Device Manager".
(WHILE RAZER DEVICES ALL PLUGGED!)
2.Unplug all Razer devices.
3.Uninstall Razer Synapse.
4.Restart.
5.Plug All Razer devices, Razer synapse will appear, let it download and install.
6.Restart after it's finished.
7.Done!!

Figured it out. I forgot I have a program that AMD runs for games and it overlays. It was causing the issue. I turned off the in game overlay and everything is working fine.
