Ok what's the best way of knocking Norway out of the war? I attacked in june 1940 with 2 infantry backed up with 2 stukas.The stukas got the oslo garrison down to 7 and my infantry,due to attrition,was also on 7 by the time they were near enough to attack,which did no damage to the enemy.The following turn the oslo garrison is back to full strength.....It's now September 1942 and I still haven't knocked Norway out of the war.......Help!

If you attack Norway and Denmark on the same turn both countries spawn units at 2 steps instead of 10. That makes a big difference.

If you don't then dropping a para unit adjacent to Oslo could help. 2 Stukas and 2 corps units should be able to finish off the Norway defenders in Oslo pretty fast if you do relax the attacks.

When you say attrition, they were OOS?

They need to be in supply.

Maybe he meant from Sub damage?

Could be. There are a lot of possibilities.

Simple. Wait till your stukas have 11 range, put one in Kiel (either late summer 40 or spring 41). Sail a corps up to Oslo. Have another corps on the Danish border. Next turn DOW Norway and Denmark, land the corps - you will be two hexes away from Oslo, Supply said unit with a surface unit. It will spot the 2 strength gar in oslo, or your INF will. Bomb Oslo, 90% of the tim the GAR is wiped out. Next turn just walk into the empty city with your inf. Of course Denmark is taken turn one.
