haven't been around FoG a lot lately. to get back into the mood, anyone up for a lords tournament, if only to keep it sharp until the new thing arrives? it will use a revamped lords of the west c.450 lineup either for 4 or 6 players. no worries about slitherine cutting off the mp until the end of the year.

the lords fellowship will reconvene soon. we'll go for the classic format of 6 players.

2 more players needed. no big rush but we can always go with the 3 scenario 4 player format if need be.

new versions for LOW450 posted. the move to preset scenarios started with (Lords of the Balkans 1405) solved several problems:

historically implausible army compositions
often ridiculous random maps
initiative die killing competitiveness
sometimes totally unbalanced matchups

this is the ultimate evolutionary step towards the greatest possible historicity. additionally,

situational starting position introduces a narrative and forces players to confront a crisis right from the start, bringing the scenarios in line with the historical battle scenarios of lords of history.

we're gonna go with 3 scenario and 4 player. it's better logistically and allows for playing the two rounds simultaneously (6 games instead of 5+5). now i need you to vote on which 3 of the 5 to play.

my preferred trio is : anglo-saxons vs roman-britons, huns vs romans-germans, picts vs scotti.

I would like to Join in as well if not too late.

i don't know what's going on for this one. i'm waiting on the other players.

back in business, we have 6 players. i don't think we'll see the new release until christmas at the earliest, which gives us two months to play the full scale format of 5 scenarios and 10 games per player.

don't know if you need another, but I could give it a go...only limitation is out of town all next week

stay tuned. londo and batesmotel have yet to confirm. i would like to accommodate since you're new to the format and i'd like to enlarge the pool of regulars.

I would like to play if you want more players.
