Hi,

Just bought the OoB few days ago, and also instantly loaded the new patch with BoB mod.

My problem is the following:

I'm unable to proceed further in Japanese campaign. The game tries to load Java - March 1942 scenario, but the game just freezes.
The loading bar goes full, but when I try to click the continue button with mouse, nothing happens. The button changes colour to indicate it's pressed,
but there is no sound and the game doesn't continue further. It's not a corrupt save either, since when I started another campaign, the same thing happens
at the same point.

I also suspect a bug in US campaing, the Henderson field scenario. I'm able to play it, but the game has deleted ALL airplanes from my core troops!!

Please help me out. Are these somehow known bugs? I love the game, but at the moment it's TOTALLY unplayable for me because of these two bugs.

We're working on a patch. You can try this hotfix if you'd rather not wait:

Tried the hotfix by adherbal you suggested. No help with the Java scenario, same results.
The game gets stuck in loading screen. Mouse pointer moves, it changes the colour of continue button, but nothing else happens.

At the moment I feel really frustrated. I've seen funcitional bugs in games before, but this makes the game totally unplayable.

Could you attach your campaign savegame from before the Java scenario here? We can use it to reproduce the issue and make sure we get it fixed.

Also, if you have it to hand, could you grab the output.log file which is generated when you play the game after the issue occurs?

I'm trying to upload the output_log file as attachment, but I get a red message "The extension txt is not allowed."

Also I can't find the save game file. What is it called?

and FYI I bought the game from Steam, so the whole bloody file system looks like a mess to me.
I don't know what belongs to the OoB and what's generated By Steam...

Still trying to find the save game folder - with no success so far. Where does Steam save them as default?
I searched through my whole hard drive for a key word "autosave.sav", but didn't find anything!

You need to zip files before attaching them.

I am having the same issue, the game will not load after the sea invasion of Java. I have tried the hotfix but it still freezes. I can exit to the desktop, but it will not let me exit to the main menu. Also, I cannot select other game load/save options. I tried tricking it by hitting restart scenario even though the scenario never loaded, but that did not work either. Looks like I am off to other games until it is fixed.

I got the hotfix to work. It patches default to program files/x86/etc... If you have the steam version, you need to redirect the hotfix patch to program files/steam/steamapps/common/oob pacific to get it to work. I am back to playing and having fun!

Now what? Continue playing? Game is still thinking super slow. Or am I supposed to start the Mission over again?
