Prestige in Grand Campaign

Hi,
I'm playing the Grand Campaign '39 and have noticed that for the last couple of scenarios I am getting zero prestige per turn and zero prestige for capturing towns. The only way I can get prestige is by units surrendering. Is this the scenario design or am I missing something? The scenarios I've noticed on are Modlin and Warsaw North. I'm playing on the standard difficulty.
Thanks
Mike

Mike - I haven't played that scenario in quite some time, so, I'm not sure what the settings might be. I do know that if you mouse over the prestige area/box in the upper right of the screen, a window should pop up with a value of x prestige per turn. It might be 50, 100, etc - or in some scenario cases it is actually set to zero. As for capturing towns, I'm not sure what the situation is though. From my own playing experience, it seems like the town prestige is a one-time thing. You get it after the 1st capture only. If the town changes hands & you recapture it, you don't get the prestige bonus again for the recapture. Perhaps this is the source of confusion? Admittedly, I'm guessing though. Hope this helps & good luck.

There are some scenarios where you don't get prestige per turn, these are usually attacking ones where you should be collecting a lot of flag capture prestige.
You should be getting 50 prestige when you capture a flag for the first time, and 100 for a victory hex (flag with a gold border). As far as I know the only way to set this to zero is if you have set the prestige slider in the Advanced difficulty control screen to 0.
To check the difficulty, load the last axis turn or any of your saved games, press control+shift+alt+c to activate the cheat code and enter endscn0. This will give you a decisive victory. You will then have a choice to view battlefield, proceed or adjust difficulty. Click difficulty, and check the difficulty sliders settings in the advanced screen to check you didn't accidentally set your prestige to zero (don't worry if you have - I've done it too!). If so, either press teh default button or set it to 100% again and carry on. If that doesn't work you will probably need help from the technical support people.

Thanks for the help. I'm playing on the iPad where I don't think it's possible to change custom difficulty settings. It looks like my save has been corrupted in some way. I checked the technical support forum and it looks like somebody else had the same issue but it was never responded to.
