can hear the game but screen is black .

I got OOB:P on steam, and its not running on my mac. i start the cam and my screen goes black. i can hear it running along with battle sounds for what i assume is the opening video. i have tried deleting it and re downloading it and it still won't run. is there something i need to update? i have a fairly high end mac that can run any mac game on the highest settings without a hitch so I'm not sure whats going on.
