Currently playing coral sea in campaign
on turn 26 of 30 and after ending my turn , the AI makes its moves and then it says
AI turn in progress Thinking
and sticks there
nothing I can do seems to fix it
tried reloading from different save points, always sticks next turn
tried ctrl + enter to force my turn , doesn't work

Any ideas?
I really don't want to have to go all the way back to square 1 and I especially don't want to have it happen again
I had no issues til after I patched the game today with the newest patch.

Well this is getting aggravating. After reading a bit seems like there are a bunch of similar seeming issues, but im seeing no fixes for them.
I tried dumbing down all the graphic and play settings, other than make the game look ugly and 15 years old it had no affect.
My computer desktops specs should be more than enough.
i7, 16 gb ram, etc
Kind of disappointed, I hadn't know the game was this buggy still.
Next time i'll pay more attention to the forum threads before purchase I guess.
Had such a good experience with panzer corps didn't think I needed to here.

Please try running the hotfix installer in the attachment, and let us know if this fixes both issues (AI freeze & Java scenario loading)

So far so good on the fix.
I did briefly run into a game crash after , said fatal error in gc. Too many heap sections.
was when loading the philipene sea scenario
But I closed the game and restarted and it seemed to work ok.

Hey guys.

I had the same need for this fix and it is working so far for me. Just an FYI for anyone, the fix "default installation path" is different than where i placed mine, but stating the appropriate installation path makes all golden. I just needed to restart game.

I am not very computer savy. I need explicit instructions on how to apply this hotfix so I can get back playing the game. I play on a PC with Windows 8. TIA

1. Unzip the hotfix file (OoBP-hotfix-1.9.3d.zip).
2. Run the extracted file (OoBP-hotfix-1.9.3d.exe)
3. Make sure the hotfix installation path is the same as your game installation folder.
