Happy Battle of Britain Day!

Order of Battle: Pacific has been updated with free special content celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain!

The scenario starts on 12 June 1940 and lasts until 20 September 1940. The map covers England and the northern French, Belgian and Dutch coasts. It accurately portrays the changing German tactics in the battle, first focusing on the RAF airfields and later switching to the strategic bombing of cities. Several event pop ups help tell the story and outline the strategic situation of the battle.

You control the men and machines of the Royal Air Force and must protect British shipping and cities to keep the British Morale up. You win the scenario by destroying the German command’s desire to fight by downing bomber wings and reaching out to disrupt their preparations for Operation Sea Lion.

AI controlled allied convoys sail from the western edge of the map along the English Channel towards ports in London. Protecting these convoys not only prevents a morale penalty, but each ship arriving at the destination also provides the player with additional resources to assist the war effort.

Secondary objectives include protecting the vital Radar chain, the destruction of Stuka bomber units harassing the Atlantic Convoys and taking out a heavy German coastal gun battery which is bombarding the area around Dover.

If you're using OOB with Steam it will update automatically.

For the Slitherine version try the "check for update" button in the lower right corner of the game launcher (not sure if this is on yet since I use the Steam version currently).

I have a game by the slitherine.OK ILL im checking

yes I see that game is updating now. I used QUICK start icon , I forgot about the icon with the menu big thanks !!!

Have you tried the 'Check for Update' in the game menu?
That worked for me.

How to grab the patch 1.9.3 when using the Mac version? There appears to be no game launcher window - just the mod selector screen?

I have the Slitherine version and can see no way to update? Just the screen below and then into the game. Cheers,

I did that and now all I get is a black screen when I start the game. I tried to patch again and was told I was already on 1.9.3 - but it let me proceed - but still the black screen on startup. Not too bothered as I have finished the game, just thought I would take a look at the DLC. I'll have to try a reinstall sometime.

I downloaded the Slitherine version and can't get the game to run now. I get an error message indicating it failed to load mono. Right now, the game is hosed...

Can you navigate into the game root folder, and tell me if there is a "Order of Battle - Pacific_Data/Mono" subfolder there?

Yes, it is there.

Looking at the files the patch installer contains - it is missing a lot of stuff! It probably works if you had 1.8.3 installed, but not on earlier versions.

As a temporary solution, try installing 1.8.3 first (over any previous version):

THEN apply the new patch. If that helps, please let us know.

I'll try it but I'm almost certain the game was already patched to 1.83 before trying to apply the BoB patch.
