Oh yeah a Savoyard army list would have been great.

I reckon they will add Savoy if they ever make a War of the Spanish Succession expansion.

I just tried a Skirmish with Jacobean-Scots vs. Anglo-Dutch and had a blast (losing). The late era of this period has its own tactical challenges, which gives this game a lot of "legs".

i do not think a Spanish Succesion might be possible in p&s campaigns (the end time is 1698), however savoyard army list is inside "duty and glory army list for field of glory renaissance" for this period, believe me it is not a real powerful army list ... but it might be interesting (at least for italians like me )

This is great, but dammit, I havnt even had time to digest Campaigns with all the new early lists, nor have I even started a campaign series of battles yet..

Finally had a chance to play a few battles with these lists. At ist the 20% pike graphics rubbed me as a little odd looking ( small clump up in the middle) but now they seem about right. Despite a mere "20 year gap" in time line from the 30 YW module, a heck of a big difference in feel and play, which is great

I have to say though , the latest French armies really stink Ai Brits and Austrians killed me! The French cavalry , although looking good on paper as impact mounted, have little chance vs hordes of the cheaper average armoured "carabinier types" with no impact weapons at all... The french arnt going to win with their modest ( and low #'s) of infantry either...
Figured the Sun Kings armies would have been a little handier
