The topic says it all. I paid the full $20 for Panzer Corps on the iPad a few days before the half off sales hit, and I'm enjoying it plenty none the less. However, while I think it is a great game and I am willing to pay, I'm wondering if the Panzer Corps IAPs ever go on sale. Regular prices are just too steep for this student...

I'd encourage you to pay full price if at all possible. PzC isn't a high-volume game. It's lots of fun, but in more of a nerdy cult following kind of way. That means if we want to keep the game alive it's important that we each pay up as much as possible.

I agree that PzC is a great game, and I would love to support it. I don't deny the quality and want to support such a game. But I think you are confusing me with some rich person who has $80 to spend on a second campaign and extra maps for DLC of a game. It's just too high for me, even half that price is kind of expensive, but I could at least afford that.

Xmas is probably the next time you will see a (33%) discount.

I think I can afford one or two of the DLC if it is 33% or so off.

Generally Slitherine offers a 33% (or more occasionally a 50%) discount at both Xmas and mid-June. At Easter there is often a smaller promotion (~10%), and periodically random sales come up.

Apart from a major Steam promotion earlier in the year, I don't think Panzer Corps has ever been less than half price.

Yea, I don't think it should ever go below half. But isn't it only the main game that is discounted? What about the DLC in the IAP area of the iPad version?

To answer your last question... All of the additional games (AK, AC, etc.) have been on sale to some degree or another at various times.

Even as in app purchases on the tablet?
