Guys,

I'm playing one of Erik's excellent MP scenarios. My opponent has just launched a fighter over his airfield.

I have three bombers nearby. None of them can bomb the airfield because the fighter is directly over it, and my bombers won't push it away.

That means, so long as my opponent launches another plane every turn (or keeps the current one there?), he can prevent me from ever bombing his airfield.

Is that right?

Select you own air unit. Click on the target, the defending fighter should be pushed away and then the bomber attacks the ground target.

Thanks Erik, Nope that doesn't work...

In your fabulous Midway MP scenario... I can target the Airbase Facilities (radar) with my Kanko bomber selected...


But if I try to get my Kanko to attack/fly over the Hangar, it refuses... No valid route (no white arrow) shown... But the text highlight shows for 'Hangar' so the cursor is in the right place... So the Hangar appears to be protected by the overflying enemy aircraft?


I've tried this with my nearby Zero, Kanko, or Kanbuku... But none of them are willing to go there...

Any ideas?

There's an unidentified enemy plane over the hangar, so you can't move your own air unit 'on top' of the hangar.
You need to move next to it (with a bomber), then click on the hangar location.

Hi Erik, Thanks for the suggestion, but nope it doesn't work.
I can move immediately adjacent to the hangar, to reveal the unidentified plane that's 'protecting' it.
But I still can't move my bomber (circled in white top left) to bomb the hangar (under the Wildcat, which the game has labelled 'VF-8' to show where my move cursor is pointing). No white arrow. It won't let the bomber go there.

OK, looks like we need help from a grown-up (aka dev)
