Undo vs Double Confirm

Somewhere around on this forum I have read double confirm could be included in the game instead of using undo.

How does double confirm looks/feels like? What the player needs to do to make double confirmation? How will his execution of moving actions differ from current sequence of select - point - click to move?

Thx

Interesting idea, Uran.

If we're voting, I'd kinda prefer to avoid 'double confirm' (or make it a deselectable option) because it would drive me nuts, adding an extra stage to all of my moves.

There's only one type of move when I think, argh!, I could really use 'undo' right now... and that's when an air unit is flying directly over a land/sea unit, and I think I've got the land/sea unit selected, but actually I've got the air unit... and once it's moved, it's moved... Actually, you know what, I probably wouldn't mind 'double confirm' for air units, because there aren't so many of them and that's where I usually mess up, lol

Right, well, I would return for a function as with Panzer Corps. I meet on units that I could attack, then no back button. Otherwise, these same key in function ... just as with Panzer Corps

Battle of the Bulge? use a form of confirm.

Yesterday it was on http://www.twitch.tv/slitherinegroup/v/13090972

It give a idea how a confirm system works.

Thanks for pointing this out. Apparently they have extensive combat prediction system going on and no way to see it before moving. Also there is no end turn button because turns are variable and end randomly. Not only that, during one turn I didn't notice they can move a lot of units as well. But in essence in their UI it is a button that confirms all actions. It would be tedious in this kind of game.
