Haven't played for a while but decided to give it a go again, now the game will not start on steam. What do I need to do to get it to work. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game. It will open up the Game menu, then when I click to play, it goes to select resoulution and then fails. It worked before.

Please open the game installtion folder and find a file named PanzerCorps.exe. Please run this file with your Steam program running and logged in.
Do you receive any error message?

Do you have the steam version or the non- Steam version? Are you running on a 64bit or a 32bit Windows system?

I am using Windows 10 64 bit, I have the steam version but I can reinstall the non steam version, if that is what it takes.

Another quick question I bought the Order of Battle- Pacific and 3 DLC's on steam, where do they put the DLC numbers so I can manually install, also where can I get the downloadable files.

How have you installed Windows 10? Did you made a clean installation or just updated from the previous Windows version?
Was it working before you update/install Windows 10?

I'm afraid it's not possible. If you bought from Steam you can't only install through Steam. Only when you buy directly from our store you'll be able to have both versions.

It was updated from previous version and it was working before. What I did it just created a dual drive and put Windows 7 on second, now I can play all the games. You would think that Steam would have had enough time to make sure it worked with 10.

That is a bummer about that. I wish I would have known that before hand. I really like the game and think it should be made available both ways.

Thanks anyway

The issue is not related with Windows 10 itself, as the game is compatible Windows 10.
What might have caused the issue is how the upgrade was performed. If instead of doing an update you had done a clean install, probably you wouldn't be experiencing these issues.

Please try the following on your Windows 10.

1. Uninstall Panzer Corps
2. Download the file attached in this message PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x64.zip
3. Unzip the downloaded file and run the extracted file PanzerCorps_ClRegKey-x64.reg
4. Allow the "program" to delete the Windows registry keys regarding the game
5. Rename the folder named Panzer Corps as "_Panzer Corps" in your Windows documents folder at: ...\Documents\My Games\
6. Install Panzer Corps in a different Steam library folder than the default C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\..... Install instead in a folder, for example, like C:\Games\Steam\... *

Run the game and check if the issue persists.

* For on how to add new Steam library folders check the following guide presented on the link below:

Why?, Are you experiencing exactly the same issue? Or is it a different one?

Same issue and the fix did not work, still doesn't open, but when I go to my Windows 7 drive, the games play flawlessly.

Have you reinstalled in a different folder?
Can you attach a DxDiag report file?

I reinstalled in different folders and followed your instructions, still does not work.

Try unplugging your second monitor, reboot Windows and run the game.
