Recording Results

Please use this thread to detail results and provide battle reports to whatever extent you desire. Below you will find how scoring is to be calculated and the way to report the results.

Scoring

Scoring will be based upon the break level and by how close the battle was. The narrower the margin between players will result in scores rather close while an early decisive win will be wider.

Win: 6.0 + (enemy break% - winner break %)/10
Draw or Loss: (enemy break %)/10

Example:
pantherboy (German Catholic 1632-1638) (61%) vs flatsix518 (Swedish 1630-1634) (48%)
pantherboy (48%)/10 = 4.8pts
flatsix518 6.0 + (61% - 48%)/10 = 7.3pts

NB: Any battle that ends due to all the turns elapsing and with a player ahead in break % will not be considered a win and as such will only score the opponents break level divided by 10.

Reporting Results

Reporting results will be incumbent on the player who won the battle. They will be required to log into the Slitherine Forum and post the result publically on the appropriate thread (e.g. Caracole III Results). Results posted should be reported in the following format;

Group (A/B/C etc.)
Player ID (army) (Army Break %) score vs Player ID (army) (Army Break %) score

My first win in Italian wars battles, I think The results does not fully reflect what happened in the battles. The fightings were very tough, but in the end my tactics worked. Thanks for two good games!

The Parliamentarian cavalry crushed my left flank, but luckily for me my Scot infantry routed nearly all Parliamentarian infantry. Thanks for a good game!

In an I can't believe it finish deadtorius Imperials (0%) 15.3 pts wins versus Doyle50 English (93%) 6 pts

Not sure how but I managed to build a much larger army which just rolled forward and engaged the English army. I was able to destroy the entire English Army, almost, starting with the cavalry and then the last horse and the infantry all collapsed in one turn. I am just as suprised as Doyle was on this one. I doubt I will ever see results like this again, but I guess it makes Caracole history

Thank you for the game Doyle50, you fought well but were just too far outnumbered. Perhaps you will have better luck in our other game.

That would be 0 points to the English.

Thanks for a great game! The Imperial was unlucky to have some of their units arriving as a flank attack, so the Imperials were outnumbered at the start and couldn't fully counter the Danish advance. But the Imperials fought very well and at one point caused some panic among the Danish. In the end the Danish succeeded in routing most of the Imperial infantry.
