Question about Wallachians in Ottoman supplement

HI There.
Just picked up the FOG rules 2 weeks ago, and I'm convinced that I'll convert my half-finished/painted DBM armies to the system, and hopefully get them finished. Whilst I may pick up the crusades supplement, I'll probably wait till the Ottoman supplement which covers my favorite ancients/medieaval 'theatre' as it were. Now, I've got a DBM Wallachian army in bits, about 1/6 painted/based. I'll get started on this before the ottoman release in September, and I just wanted to know a few things (so I don't have to rebase etc!)

Are the peasants/rustici based as mob or medium infantry, or is there the option for either?

Is there an amount of heavy calvary boyars, or is the majority skirmish horse?

I think I can began ordering/painting the miniatures over summer, I just wondered if anything like this had been decided yet

Cheers in advance
MD

I can't give you specifics but a more general answer is:

1. Option for MF and Mob.

2. There are Cv nobles and the ordinary mounted can be LH or Cv in the way steppe types can be - although they aren't quite the same as steppe cavalry :)

I fell in love with the "Full equipe" Wallachian light horse the first time that I saw them, very interesting list.

Thanks for the info. Thats exactly what I needed.

Really looking forward to this supplement. Been watching the 1979 Vlad Tepes film in anticipation... :)

For baggage I would use a bunch of impaled dudes.

Donnington miniatures do a nice one in 15mm. I was going to use them for disorder markers myself.

BTW, apart from a few useable figure in the Essex ranges, can anyone think of suitable 15mm figs besides East Riding Minatures and Donnington? (both of which are very good, with the ERM ones having the right 'atmosphere' if you know what I mean)
