A FOG AM tournament for 800 point armies from any list with 2 games of 3 hours and 30 minutes plus 1-15 minutes played on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. A very warm welcome awaits for all who throw their hat in the ring with random quotes from perviuos combatants as follows

"Best fun I ever had with my clothes on"

"They really do know how to look after you up there"

"Chef Eric's food is quite extraordinary"

"Best fun I ever had with my clothes off"

Entry is £30 and includes breakfast, lunch and munchies throughout the basho. It's pay on the day. Enquiries, entries and lists to HunterHope@pkc.gov.uk. Last date for entry and list is midnight on Wednesday 18th November.

I believe John Edwards from the Durham mob will be coming up as well Hunter.

For those that don't know, I've managed to time a gig with my band (Deep Purple in Rock - http://www.deeppurpleinrock.co.uk) up in Dundee on the Saturday night if anyone fancies it. It is an 11:00 curfew on music, so it won't be a late night.

Full details are:
Venue - Beat Generator, 70 N Lindsay St, Dundee DD1 1PS (Sat Navs might take you round the corner).
Tickets - £7, pay on the door.

As you may have guessed, we are a Deep Purple tribute!

........ on the downside Rob T can't make it and John C is an unlikley lad. I haven't heard back from the Muirs but I suspect John has moved permanently on to other stuff. So - 15 likley lads I'll soon be scrambling for a 16th warrior to swerve the dreaded bye.

Just been checking the results for the Scottish Open for the last few years... and found none on BHGS site or results anywhere...

I am shocked that the last results sent by yourself and used for 2009

Come on matey get your finger out and send them in... 2010,2011,2012,2013,2014 ? Can we have an open if no results are covered or published!!!! I have chased D.R. with the results for Schiltron, as I noticed I did not hand them in either... so one organiser to another... please supply these....

Looks like a kinda closed open then eh? I'm afraid I have to hold my hand up and say its not something I've kept a record of. If it helps any - the winners names are on the "Old Glory Geezer" trophy which I think has set up home with PJ. If my memory serves me correctly a guy called George Dick was second in 10, 11, 12, 13 and maybe 14 but I can't be sure. That being the case though, Spotted Dog Production's Pre Dict o Meter with undoubtedly be figuring this guy into the top spot forecasts for 15!

Lists to Hunter Hope for checking folks. Just one received so far from Shuggie - which was shockingly awry but now sorted. Sorry Shug - the people hae a right to ken!
