Bug Report: P-61 Unit Fires on B-29

I only briefly scanned this forum to check for similar issues so please forgive me if this problem has already been reported. While playing Operation Downfall this evening, I had a B-29 directly over the Imperial Palace and a P-61 unit in an adjacent hex. When I placed the cursor over the B-29, I got the blue "+" sign over the P-61 and indication that the B-29 would take one point of damage if it bombed the palace. Sure enough, when the bombs were dropped, the P-61 turned, fired, and the B-29 took the damage.

So, if this type of problem has not been reported before, then you're probably reading this and thinking, "This guy is nuts--he can't tell the difference between fire from a flak gun and an aircraft". However, I saved the game right before this event and therefore have proof that I'm not crazy. Well, at least not in this case! Further to the point, this happened during the last few game turns after all the Japanese units were destroyed; I was just having fun capturing the last few victory hexes.

Because there doesn't seem to be any concept of units defecting or blue-on-blue type of damage, this appears to be a bug. By the way, there also appeared to be some indication that something on the Imperial Palace victory hex took 13 points of damage--in addition to the -3 due to loss of supplies. Since there was no unit on the hex and units at level 3 in the game have a maximum of 10 points, it's unclear what happened.

I'm running version 1.8.3 at the moment. Since I didn't purchase a bomber in previous missions, I do not know if this issue is unique to Downfall or not.
