Every time I right click on the minimap to open the strategic map, the game just freezes. Another click sends it back to normal, but back to the 3d map. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, updating video driver, changed every possible setting, tried several resolutions, nothing. Help, please!

On a related note, is there any other way to display objectives?

Click on one of the blue ? marks in the Order screen.

I am having exactly the same problem. this started after installing the 1.8.3 update. Is anyone working on this? Thank you.

I also have the same problem too. When I want to right click on the strategic map it does not respond.

I can this one reproduce and there is a other strange behaviour:
The first right-click don't open the map but the second right-click remove the deshboard. Press F9 for a screenshot and the the picture taken is this one:

I also have this problem after update 1.8.3. It seems that if I right click on the minimap it looks like game freeze but I think the strategic map is active but you can't see it. It is like a layer above 3d map and UI. Because when I left click in screen like there would be a strategic map it will zoom in on that spot in 3d map. I have tested to do this some times and click on different places on screen and 3d map get me to different places like a strategic will do.

Hope this info will help you troubleshooting this issue.

I fixed popup menu problem by deleting settings directory but this issue still exists
