Best Weapon in OOD

If you really want to rip out the guts of a Japanese Infantry attack, two or three Long Toms, 155mm Howitzers will do the trick.
Love that artillery piece!

I didn't bother much about tanks either in the end of the US campaign but rather bought more and more M12 GMCs which I gave the Order of Destruction!
That's modern warfare: waiting for the air force and artillery to pulverize the enemy before moving on with the ground forces to raise the flags.

To me best weapon is still engineer. Nvr survive a battle without them. Arty is great but use a para on them you will surely miss them and wonder how much investment is that. Long Tom was very very powerful but only avail late game so engineer still my vote on best weapon.
