Attrib. Morale State

Hi,

Are the same Morale (from the squad file) and the Attrib MoraleState ?

What is the influence of the Attrib Morale or Morale State during the combat?
Coul it be decesive to keep a unit the battlefield?

What is the value of the Morale Attrib? 0-100?

Has anybody modifed this Attrib during the battle?

The Attrib "Morale" is not used by Pike and Shot, it is a hangover from Battle Academy, but is required by the engine to exist in the Squads file.

But in the file MoraleTools.bsf there is a Attrib called "MoralState" Could you say me the range of this Attrib?
What is the influence of the Attrib "MoraleState" during the combat? becuase I would like to start a game with a group of units with a lower level of moral. How could it be done?

"MoraleState" has the following possible values

0 = steady
1 = disrupted
2 = fragmented
3 = routed
5 = destroyed

So you can't really use it in the way you want unless the units start Disrupted.

There is no % value for Morale.

You could modify the "Elan" of the units which would lower the quality, (which is the average of "Experience" and "Elan") and, depending on the value, display as Disheartened or Demoralised.
