Question about captured oil

I wondered if captured oil provide halved oil similar to providing half PP's. E. g. Germany can capture the Mosul oil field in Iraq. This oil hex produces 6 oil and that would yield 6 * 4 = 24 oil points per turn for the western Allies.
But how many oil points will the Mosul oil field provide for the Axis player? Will it still be 6 * 4 = 24 oil or will it be only half 6 /2 * 4 = 12 oil? I guess it will in addition provide 6 / 2 = 3 PP's per turn.
