Sorry this is a bit late but ...
Not yet, but working on it. There are a fair number of DBM players in your area. Many of them have the rules but aren't yet playing.
There will be a FoG tournament at Advance the Colors (September 13th, Springfield OH) run by yours truly. There will certainly be some beginner friendly FoG game/games on Friday the 12th as well. We're very accomodating and a lot of people will be playing in their first tournament. I can also make an army available to you if you wish.

Hi, hercimurthemediocre. I Live in Sidney Ohio (about 1.75 hour drive NW of Columbus) and am completely new to ancients but bought and read the FOG rules and would be very interested in going to Advance the Colors and learning to play. I'm working on getting an army to play but if I don't finish one by then I would like to take you up on the offer you gave Bryan of borrowing an army if it extends to others as well. You said beginner friendly games will be held on the 12th. Does Advance the colors start on the 12th?

I will try to get the time off to come to Advance the colors. What is the price to get into the Con?
