2 Questions

In discussions with the press around the time of the "Home of Wargamers" event a couple of comments from Slitherine have raised questions in my mind that are, to me at least, important.

1. Wargamer.com quote "Slitherine to stop making games". Now they explained this as meaning Slitherine would stop making games themselves but would continue to publish games from Matrix and other good development houses.

My question: Does this mean any lingering chance of "Chariots of War" being ported to iPad is gone?

2. In another interview (sorry in this case I do not remember who), it was essentially said that Slitherine was going to re-emphasize PC games and de-emphasize iPad games.

My question: is that an accurate assessment of what was said?

Our internal development team is now going to be focused almost entirely on supporting developers and on improving and supporting our Archon family of engines. In truth that has been the de-facto state for a while now as we work with more and more development partners.

We are indeed focusing a lot on PC-centric development currently, though we still have a lot of great mobile games coming! This is a fairly normal part of the cyclical nature of gaming and our constant evaluation of where best to spend our development resources.

Cheers

Pip

Thank you very much for your overall answer. That much is clear. However, I would specifically like to know the impact of all of this on the potential for an iPad version of Chariots of War.

Best Regards,

John
