Order of March and Tournaments

RBS et al...

Something I'm not clear on, as its seems a bit grey in the rules. Is your intent that in a multi-round tourney a players order of march is fixed throughout the tourney, or is it merely the first thing you do when you find out who your opponent is in the current round?

Thanks
Cole

Well ultimately it is a matter for the tournament organiser's rules, but our intention is that it should be fixed for the whole tournament to avoid delaying the set-up of each game.

Order of march is normally fixed for the entire tournament. I think that in the standard BHGS tournament rules for FoG it says that as part of the tournament rules but may be wrong.

Leaving this out of the rules was not an oversight. In general we tried to avoid putting specific tournament rules in the rule-book because we did not want to create the erroneous impression that the rules are primarily designed for tournament play.

As stated in the rules they are designed equally for historical matchups, scenario games, campaign games, casual games and tournament games.

Hence we have left rules specifically for tournaments to be specified by the tournament organisers. However the BHGS FOG tournament rules are a useful template for organisers to work from.
