Commander EaW 2nd edition?

Commander is quite an old game now. will there be a 2nd edition made? Or will this game die?

would be great to see a map that actually was 1920 x 1080, I can live with the rest!

This question is for Slitherine to answer. It will certainly not be made with the same game engine as for CEAW. The game engine used for Great Commander could be suitable.
We don't know anything about plans for CEAW 2. If there are any then I guess Slitherine will tell us.

Yes, even if not a CEAW 2, a CEAW HD edition, with map that can display at 1920 x 1080 etc.and other small UI improvements would be lovely and something I'd pay for!
