Slitherine

I am having serious difficulty with this scenario. I consider myself to be a fairly seasoned Panzer Korps player. I have been playing since the panzer general games on the playstation. In my current campaign, I have won every scenario with a decisive victory on field Marshall difficulty. This is the last scenario and I am looking forward to winning it to unlock the harder difficulties. I enter the scenario with 9600 prestige. I have an experienced core that is upgraded with the latest versions of each unit. I have tried several strategies but by around turn 25 I can see that it's a lost cause. I can establish several beachhead and even push into England but by the time the second wave of American ground forces comes ashore I'm pretty beat up and can't even hold what I have. Has anyone out there been able to beat this scenario and if so do you have any tips? Thanks!

As far as I know, no one has ever beaten this scenario on FM level.
No matter how powerful your forces, you will suffer great losses due to rushing with the time constraints. I have gotten to just one objective remaining but just could not get there in time. I imagine the scenario is even harder with the latest update.
If anyone ever does win this one on FM level, you really need to publish an AAR showing what you did to succeed.
Someday, I may try it again myself.

Well the developers at least designed the scenario with the intention that it would be possible.

In my WWI mod there is a particularly notorious mission at the end called Mons18, which I designed in a way that it would destroy everything put against it. In it, I let you live only enough that you go to the next - and final - scenario (which is a post-war rebellion) with a few units on 3 strength. Of course, this is punishment for doing terrbily over the previous 4 years of war! (Should you do well, you invade the USA instead)

I suggest playing it on iPad. There is a bug in the iPad version allowing V weapons to be refueled and rearmed like other aircraft. The V weapons alone can destroy everything on the map making this scenario trivial. Sigh. Sad that bugs don't get fixed in this game anymore.
