Good Afternoon. Today my friend and I patched our games and played our first game using steam multiplayer and the PBEM++ option. The multiplayer was not what we had expected. Is it possible to allow simultaneous game play while playing together on steam? We had expected something similar to the way Civilization V plays. It is still turn based, but you can see what the other player is doing and your in the game. Only having one person playing at a time and the other waiting in the lobby is not very fun for joint gaming while both players are online at the same time. I understand how this would work if you were playing over time against someone with an IPAD or IPhone. However, this doesn't work very well for computer multiplayer. This process takes away from experience for computer online gaming. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.

Direct multiplayer isn't possible at the moment, but it's on our wishlist. It's turning into a long list though, so I can't say when it will be available.
