no idea tbh, so for me unless a mod comes it's a guess, so for a guess it's a box, and dvd and a printed manual as normal, but like i said, it's a guess i'm sorry to say

Surtur responded on the Steam forums that the boxed version only comes with a digital manual.

What is the point of a boxed version, then, I say? Seems very silly to me, and definitely not worth the extra price for just a DVD.

DX (Digital Express) edition games are boxed with a disk but no printed manual. CL (Collectors Editions) are boxed with full colour manual. The games page will tell you what type you get with each game. Star Hammer has a digital manual. Many people still prefer to have a box than digital so we offer the service. We tend to print manuals for the more complex games where people really want to pore over them and we do sell more boxes of these type of games.

Nobody else is doing this so its pretty unique.
