PDF Game Guide please?

Hi gents,

Legion Arena hit the Spanish shops finally! A fellow wargamer called me to explain we can play online someday. He likes the game a lot (he played the demo previously), and explains it's very addictive and have tons of fun. He suffers from the "one more battle please" syndrome

Well, seems that the Spanish editor, Planeta, is selling the game with a very "scarce", minimalist, game guide. Its made of 15 pages only, and explains very few of the game (5 of them are credits -lol-). My friend asks me about the game manual that comes with the international box and is green with envy... 8)

:?: So his -my- question is: Can you put a PDF game manual (in english, don't worry about translating) available for download in the Slitherine's site please? I'm sure many Spanish players will be very thankful about it.

Muchas gracias.

I'm looking into this. This wasn't the plan as far as we were aware....

Gah, it's a shame that local publishers can get away with this.

But OTOH, Ian, aren't you glad you have loyal customers to keep you informed about issues like this? :)

We've passed this on to Black Bean. They say the whole manual was translated so they are investigating.

Hi Iain,

Thanks for looking into it. I have the spanish manual, from a friend, here at hand. It's shameful:

-No foreword by Simon Scarrow
-Only 15 pages, including covers.
-Of them, only SIX are dedicated to gameplay. Rest are the index, credits, etc
-There's a link to the Spanish publisher, www.planetadeagostini.es, but no word of the game is found in that site still...

It would help if Planeta supports the game via website and a downloable PDF game manual (For next titles, it would be helpful to include the PDF game guide in english inside the CD)...

Gracias.

Ive played a few spanish speakers. I asked one if he had a manual, answer: "No"

I beleive he was from a spanish speaking country- not even spain, but I may be wrong. Its definitely not a one-off thing, though.
