Japanese AI froze during the Midway battle of Allied campaign.

After I completed my turn the Allied AI completed it's turn. The Japanese AI cycled through several thinking/executing iterations. The Japanese AI froze while thinking. The status bar filled out and the Japanese AI was still thinking. This happens every time (so far) that I reload the (End Turn) autosave file.

Thanks vanEijs, we've fixed the issue, and the fix will definitely be included in the next patch.

I'm afraid there's no immediately obvious way to allow you to continue this game in the meantime, although I'll have a look to see if I can hack your savegame to get it to avoid the issue.

I had a similar issue.
Not a freeze, but the Japanese AI was "thinking", while the red field was completed and no proceed botton on the left could be seen.
After 5 minutes (way too long) I clicked on the game icon in window mode and could proceed. ?????
