I have started other threads about my playthroughs and I was really enjoying my blind playthrough and had reached GC 42 when my computer pooped on me and I lost all my stuff. Not Cool!

So since I am trying to do this again and have learned so much since my blind playthrough I decided to chronicle my progress as an accountability measure and way to ask questions if they come up. This may seem tedious but helps me think about my moves as well as minimize losses. I do not replay battles or anything, the random generator giveth and it taketh away and it is best to just accept it.
I like that kind of realism to a game.

So we will start with Poznan Day 1 Sunny Prestige 1600
Found hidden fighter around Nowy Tomysl eliminated as well as first 5 strength calvary unit.
Recon stormed Nowy Tomsylbut had no real effect on aa at the airfield.
Railroaded inf up to Frankfurt.
Bought 2 10cm artys, 1 8.8 aa, 1 BF109E
Day 1 AI Counterattack (ca from now on) nothing

Day 2 Sunny Received Recon Rudel
Eliminated anti tank in the South and aa unit next to Nowy Tomsyl seized both airfields with my recon.
Had unexpected encounter with fighter on Center airfield with no losses.
Day 2 ai ca at on Nowy Tomysl retook abandoned airfield next to Nowy Tomysl.

Eliminated at unit and took over Nowy Tomysl, waiting to take airfield to see if I get another 100 prestige. (You do not)

I am curious:
Has anyone ever been able to destroy the massive army around Kutno and be able to take the city and airfield? (How did you do it and did you get anything for it or just a headache?)

I am debating whether or not to buy Elite Replacements at the beginning of the next battle or keep getting reg replacements.

Ok before I start let me say, I feel bad.
I said I do not restart battles, but I have done it once in 1939, once in Eben Emael, and a bunch of times for Albert Canal. I want the best army, and I feel like I am cheating, instead of accepting losses. (I know I could do the Reclaim thingy, but I do not want to.) I am trying to play through as is but Albert Canal had to be played a few times to get it done well without losing units as there is quite a few units that come out of the woodwork on this one.
Well I feel like I am going back on what I said in my first post and it does not feel accurate to be doing what I have done. So I am asking your forgiveness for misleading you.
I will only playthrough a scenario at most twice and accept whatever the outcome. I feel this is something I can commit to in order to set up an unbeatable army into 1942 while at the same time not just redoing battles or scenarios until I get the outcome I desire, that feels too much like cheating. I seem to have some interest in this thread so I am posing this question to hold myself accountable on this playthrough.
Well, I said I would only playthrough a scenario twice, but my first attempt at Sedan was immediately apparent it was a mistake, so I immediately abandoned and decided to try a 2nd attempt and I was pleased until I lost both an AT unit and a Pz3f unit. So...I did not stick to my word and started a 3rd attempt where I am doing really well because I am going in slightly over strengthened. Ok but I said I would only do 2 attempts so I feel like I am again being dishonest. So, I have dumped that first pathetic attempt and still have 2nd attempt where I lost 2 units or the 3rd dominate playthrough.

So do you want to see a strong playthrough or an honest playthrough?

Ummm....
Whatever the settings go to when you click on Field Marshall level.
I thought it was the hardest level the game had available?
I know they have Rommel, Guderian, and Manstein level, but I have not unlocked those fields yet as I have not played through on any of the Vanilla campaigns...too addicted to the Grand Campaign and playing people on Multiplayer.
I thought I would try a blind playthrough once I complete this Day by Day playthrough the Grand Campaign which will be a blind playthrough once I reach 1942.

So I am not sure about sliders or AI level as I just clicked the button for Field Marshall difficulty and started playing.
