Claymore in Base?

What is the effect of setting up an ambush inside a base? What happens if VC/NVA unit attacks the base?

Shouldn't really be able to setup an ambush in the base, need to fix that

Ambushing gives the unit a combat bonus and causes it to automatically attack any enemies that move adjacent to it. That still applies when the ambushing unit is in a base, unless that was changed in 1.11.

Nothing changed in this regard, just doesn't really make sense though ?
