Autobreak and pursuers

At the end of the joint action phase ( JAP ), battlegroups which are autobroken are destroyed . What happens with the winning side ? Imagine the following : the melee goes on and nobody breaks from cohesion test but one of the fighting units reaches the autobreak limit . As that unit will be destroyed latter during the JAP, when will the winning side pursue as they shouldbe able to do as they won the melee ! It might be tricky if they won the melee during theuir turn and pursue straight forward towards ennemy line .

Similar , nothing is said in the rules about what happens once scythed chariots are eliminated .I know there are rules and spirit of the rules :D , but one might say OK , the scythed chariots are defeated , the ennemy might have to "pursue" and here scythed chariots are destroyed at the beginning of the JAP, before the pursuers move ( who will not be in contact OK ).

I ask the question because I remember a post were it was said that if a unit reached autobreak, the winning side should pursue , but I cannot find it , it was so long ago :?

If a BG reaches it's autobreak level in the impact, shooting or melee phase it routs immediately and any BGs fighting it pursue.
Any BG that is broken regardless of size will rout again in the JAP and BGs in contact must pursue unless they choose not to and pass a CMT.
At the end of the JAP BGs reduced to below their autobreak level or to 1 base (which may not be autobroken) are removed.

But what happens with Scythed Chariots, do the victors pursue? Or do the Chariots just dissappear?

Looking at the full sequence of play Scythed chariots are removed right at the start of the JAP, there is no mention of pursuit at that point in the sequence of play and there is mention of pursuit in the move routers line. I would therefore conclude that as the chariots don't actually rout there is no pursuit. Of course if you somehow manage to break a BG of scythed chariots in the impact and melee phase you could well pursue them in the melee phase then when they are removed at the start of the JAP you would stop.
