Hello, I just discovered this game. Seems really interesting - I am a big fan of Renaissance period history.

A very important issue - will this game ever be ported to Android? As far as I can tell, initially it was only PC/Mac release, then an iPad port was made, but no Android?
Are there any plans to make an android version, ball park estimate when etc.?...

Unfortunately there are currently no plans for an Android version.

I have read several places that some game developers will not publish games for Android because:

A) Android users typically won't pay for games, especially if they cost more than a few bucks and

B) Games are either easier to pirate or just pirated more often for Android.

Which is the exact reason I finally gave in and bought an IPad, and I have not regretted it.

well, that's quite disappointing:(

I much prefer android devices...at least I can stick SD card in them

what is the minimum iPad required to play P&S? Will iPad 3 manage?

I have a 16GB Ipad Air and it works great for this game, Panzer Corps, and whatever else I've tossed on it. I don't think the Ipad Air 2 is worth the extra money. I also have an Ipad Mini which I love, especially for travelling. However, the Ipad Mini screen is too small to really enjoy P&S and Panzer Corps on.

I think that the min spec for P&S is an iPad 2 (or could even be a 1) - an iPad 3 should run it without any issues.

Lol, I turned to the dark side and (as I said above) have not regretted it. The Ipad Air is a really nice tablet, especially the thickness and weight. I love being untethered from the PC and to be able to game wherever I want. It also makes for a nice terminal to watch my mlb.tv on (Go Royals!).

Just wait for a nice sale somewhere, Best Buy has them $100 off every now and then.

Just be aware that the 1st gen Air has borked polygon hardware, making it slower than (e.g.) a 2 or 3. The latest model doesn't suffer from this drawback IIRC. Most things you won't notice the lower polygon throughput, but our games push a lot of polygons.
