I have a few games in which my opponent seems to have disappeared. The most salient case is a game that has been sitting since January 29. I have a couple more that have not moved for almost a month.

Does, will, P&S have a cleanup capability so these can be taken way?

You should be able to use the claim button on games which have been in your opponent's turn for more than (IIRC) 2 weeks.
