Turn 15, Midway as the US player. Japanese turn lasts through the status bar being fully orange, and doesn't end. Thirty minutes I let it run. Ships bobbing in the ocean, Japanese AI 'Thinking', that's it. CTL+ALT+DEL out of it, replay the same turn, same result.

Any advice?

I presume you are on the latest patch?

If so, could reproduce the error from the auto-save and grab the output_log.text file which is generated. Could you upload the log and the savegame here and we can have a look to see if we can solve the problem.

same to me in Midway scenario.
Ai stucks in his turn in round 19.
Steam Version of game.

Could you please confirm the version number that you see on the main menu? I've loaded your savegame and can't reproduce the error. The turn completes without issues.

Version Number is 1.6.7
Automatic Update in Steam is active.
I load other scenario these works.
Return to these Savegame and it stucks again. Game stands in Background for ca. 1h and nothing changed.

New :
i downloaded my uploaded savegames and now i have the end of Midway scenario where i can choose next scenario.
