Don't get your hopes up about the camels- they're not very good

OTOH, I haven't lost a single game yet (and have given a few thrashings) playing a beta version of the CN. And no, I don't use the camels as they're terrible! It plays kind of like a medieval version of the Numidians but w/ more bow and no classical troops like the FAKES.

I found the camels to be useful in a few roles.
Legion

Legion
Make the legion very resistant to a KN attack. Although it was pretty good before hand.
Also skimishing camels provide an interesting connundrum to enemy LH and Average Cavalry. The camels are not something that get mugged easily and as they fall back then the foe has to chase and you can swing in on a flank.
Still they aren't the killer elite they useed to be. But who is?

Sadly you won't find many legions in the Nubian army! And the camels are not good skirmishers because they don't come w/ bows.

Elephants are awesome if used well. Artillery is crappish but I guess could be useful in some match-ups. Mounted infantry doesn't exist. Chariots are crap if scythed, okay if heavy, GREAT if light.

have to agree. Chariots and Elephants fill very strong rolls.
