Thumbs are small, but hopefully this helps a bit:

Note that you should be able to drop your own PNG images into a scenario folder to use in event popups. I haven't tested this recently though.

I tried dropping a couple of png files into a scenario folder and point to them in events. Didn't work for me.

Just checked, I had put the png-file in the campaign folder instead of the scenario folder.
Fixed it, worked like a charm
I used it in the Japanese Boot Camp variation.
