GS 3.1 Crashing Human vs Human [solved]

Please help!
Game crashes even if I don't move anything, human vs human all default settings, it's April 1942, I am playing as Axis, crashes near the end of my turn.
I've played a few games to conclusion before so something odd is happening.
I can supply the save game etc if required or should I reinstall it?
