I don't seem to be able to depress the battlefield angle of view low enough so as to be able to see the horizon or city skylines. Could anyone tell
me how to do this? I read about a config-file alt adjustment that can do this. I would like to know the tweaks, plz.
Great game, BTW Really looking forward to immersing myself in this wonderful game.

Go to folder.... Slitherine/Pike and Shot/Data, open - MAPVIEW.txt Change pitch to 20 ( or whatever angle you wish), using a copy of the original MAPVIEW. txt.

You can also use SHIFT+3 to access an >unsupported< view that is lower down. Note though that there isn't any horizon nor sky
Cheers

Thanks, will try.
Did see pics of a horizon, a city and sky amidst the battle. Would post if I could(no external links allowed here). Guess they were 'enhanced'.. lol

Would you please add this to the F1 Help screen? It is a cool feature.

As Pip says, it isn't supported, and the unit graphics really aren't designed to be viewed like that.
