Slitherine

My Steam account was hijacked by changing my email. Is there any way to download my game from the Steam download/purchase confirmation? I've sent support request to Steam but who knows how long it will be before they get that sorted out.

If you bought it on Slitherine (and got the free Steam key), you can always install that version.
I got tired of the Steam messages popping up, so I'm playing the Slitherine version now.

steam messages can be turned off in settings, i'm using the beta steam one btw so always have latest beta version installed, so some days it works, the next it's broken again
