New Update Prevents Game From Launching (iPad)

Downloaded newest patch for the iPad (May 3). Now the game won't launch at all. I've tried shutting down/restarting the iPad and deleting and re-installing the game but always the same result. This is for an iPad 2 with IOS 7.1.1 and had no problems with the game before this.

Hi. I have same issue. Just downloaded onto iPad air with iOS 8 and it does not even load! Restarted and also reinstalled and no difference. Any advice much appreciated.

Issue seems fixed now. Updated to latest iOS version and launches now.
