Coop Multiplayer: Objectives

There's currently no way to assign team objectives - only by alliance.
For example, on a map with 2 human players the mission designer must build 2 sets of mission objectives.
Am I doing this wrong?

Looks like it for now. I asked about the same.
There is an option to share victory locations, but I think this means both players can deploy new units around the location no matter which player actually occupied the objective.

Most of the trigger conditions (should) have a "Team" option next to alliances or factions, but objectives always belong to a specific alliance. For example you can have scenarios where both players have different secondary objectives (the primary should always be a duplicate however).
So in the trigger effects, if need to set duplicate objectives for multiple players you have to make a copy of the effect. If you've set up the objectives with identical names and order for all the allied players you should be able to just select the "Set Objective State" effect, click the "clone" button and change the alliance colour.

Yes, but setting the mission objectives is limited to Alliance, so you have to duplicate the objectives for each Alliance.
I would recommenced allowing TEAM objectives - would save mission designers time.
Edit - the other question
What happens when two allied Alliances have different objectives in a cooperative multiplayer scenario?

What happens when two allied Alliances have different objectives in a cooperative multiplayer scenario?
For secondary objectives, nothing. For primary ones, if one alliance achieves all its primary objectives it gets a victory, and all other alliances which don't have every primary objective checked will get a defeat.
So in most cases you'll want the primary objectives of allies to be identical, and make sure the triggers check each of them when the objectives are achieved.
Unless of course you want to create something more unique, for example a scenario where two players are part of the same team, but they still compete with eachother to be the first to kill 20 enemy AI units or something.

I was thinking about assigning different objectives. Although, I think it would be too confusing. Human 1 would most likely assume Human 2 had the same assigned objectives.
