Questions from first game

Horay! Just played my first game last night and it went pretty well. Just a couple of questions:-

1) What happens if a commander is left close to enemy on his own - can he be attacked / charged / fired at?

2) Can skirmishers evade as many times in a turn as they want, or can they only evade from one charge and then get hit by another?

3) Do you need to declare ALL charges before resolving any?

Sure more will come to me, but these are what I could think of

Basically nothing...almost. He can't be shot at or charged. If he is moved though he moves one move to the nearest friendly BG. If he can't then he is lost. Otherwise he only dies if committed to combat.

Yes

Skirmishers only get one evade per turn. If you can setup a situation where one charge herds the evaders into the path of another then it is bad news for the evaders.

Cheers for these clarifications. The evade situation did come up and I couldn't find the rules in the heat of the moment, so I ruled that they can have unlimited evades  Consequently, he could have smashed some numidian cavalry in the flank but didn't. Will contact the player and reassure him that it won't happen again!

So in the case of the commander, if he cannot get back behind his own men when being charged or overrun, he will automatically be killed? Can he only move in the Impact phase as an evade in this manner?

Lone commanders that would be contacted by enemy whatever the phase can run to a friendly BG. The same is the case for commanders that are shot at. As a result it could in theory happen in any phase.
