Green striped lines on hexes around a unit

First of all . . . excellent, excellent game! Congratulations on the release.
What are the hexes with the green striped lines surrounding some units when I click on them. It seems that this appears when I click on my unit with a commander.
What do the green striped hexes mean, please?

They display the commander range of the selected unit's commander. Every unit in this range will benefit from it's bonuses.

Thank you! I didn't find anything about those hex identifiers in the manual, but I may have just missed it.

Don't think it's in the manual tbh. We tried to cover everything but might've missed a few things!
