Just purchased the game on steam and it won't launch. I played some early builds as a tester with no problems but for some reason the game will not even load the intro let alone the game.

you need to fully remove all the old builds then,

Try deleting or renaming "Settings" folder in "<documents>\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific\" and run the game again.

and post back if it fixes it for you, good luck, not that you will need it

Try deleting the Settings folder from your "<documents>\My Games\Order of Battle - Pacific\" folder. That should clear some old data files.

This solution worked for me, I was a beta tester with similar start-up issues. Thanks for the fix!
