Hi
Views on whether a standard pike and shot unit supporting a 2 artillery element battle group can charge another standard pike and shot unit less that 4 cms in front of the said artlillery battle group please.
Thanks
HH

Not Allowed, it specifically says you cannot charge through artillery you are supporting.

Thanks Ben
Does this mean in this scenario that there is no option for the player with the artillery bg other than to have a shoot out between the artlillery and the opposing p+s bg? Hard ask ifthe art is facing 6 shot with a reggie gun! 2 at 5 plus possibly another 2 at 4 from teh supporting p+s bg versus 6 at 5 and 1 at 4! Or can the supporting p+s displace the art bg by moving forward albeit unable to interpenetrate completely through?

If the P+S cannot go through the Artillery because there is not enough room it is screwed. Once trapped a Superior Salvo Swede protecting some artillery by coming close enough so it wouldn't fit if it tried to come through, with an average French P+S + regimental gun, so it was shooting 1 Salvo(4) + 2 Medium guns(5) to my 3 Muskets* + a regimental gun all on (4). Guess who won that shoot out :D. One reason I rarely protect my guns with P+S behind them, usually do it by having one on each flank and moving forward to cut off the enemy.

Also why 6 at 5 shouldn't that be at 4 unless they have a threatened flank.
