I did not know we would pay VAT in the US. I might buy some games if there is a discount. Maybe I misunderstand, dunno

VAT is applied on a country by country basis. If your country doesn't have it you would not have been charged it. You'll see it in the shopping cart.

If there is no VAT in USA, I suppose there is no applicable discount for USA buyers. Am I incorrect on this?

Yes, you are correct.

VAT was in addition to the price, so all it means is that now everyone pays the same price.

And, Slitherine and Matrix Games do not charge sales tax for U.S. purchases, so that is also a good thing!

Very good news, as many online stores do the same thing, I get used to pay the list price with no extra charge.

Last year, I cancelled an order on Slitherine store just because the final price was 4€ more than the listed price. I didn't really bother the extra money but I was upset by the method.

Am i correct in saying that there is NO VAT on any sales on line? (which is great news),

also i live in Guernsey which does not have VAT but was NOT an option in the country list! SO im especially pleased as i used to have to pay VAT when i should'nt have too

Will guernsey be added to the country list ?

Basically we pick up the bill for VAT so you don't pay it. We don't control the country options as its part of the payment solution.
