Sassanid Beginner- need advice

Heya everyone, i am beginnning a Sassanid army and need to know what to collect 
. What are the minimum requirements for a basic army of Sassanids and where could i find some rules for them 
I have been using the old DBM lists to get a rough idea, any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
