Battle of Senzar 1448 BC

The dating is 'circa', as with all Bronze Age brawls. Thutmose III did not bruit about his victory in this battle too much, leading writers such as Richard Gabriel and others to suspect that Senzar may have been much more hard-won than Megiddo. The Mitanni empire was in its zenith and they were pioneers in the use of the war chariot, so I suspect it must have been a pretty bloody affair. Aside from the fact that it was a chariot battle between the Egyptians and the Mitanni and took place near the city of Senzar, little else is known, although considering the region it is safe to assume that the terrain was ideal chariot ground. The main secondary source on this battle, big surprise, is Breasted. This scenario benefited from a few ideas for the units from the GBoH countertop scenario version of this battle. Lacking Mitanni counters in FoG, I used mostly Lybians. A pretty straightforward battle setup.
